14.09.2018, 09.00 Uhr17.30 Uhr | Berlin

Research has a role to play in society’s endeavor for sustainable development. With the launch of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in 2015, the world community has set the agenda for tackling the world’s most pressing challenges, including ending poverty and ensuring prosperity for the growing world population while respecting planetary boundaries. The German Leibniz Association unites the necessary spread of disciplines within their 93 member institutions to tackle the full bandwidth of research questions associated with sustainable development. With this conference the Leibniz Association will shed light on recent advances in sustainability research across scientific fields and research disciplines.
