Leibniz HealthTech Lecture: INCATE – supporting early-stage antimicrobial innovations

15.09.2025, 14.00 Uhr15.30 Uhr | [online]

Effective antibiotics are essential for modern medicine that are under threat due to the development of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). New therapeutic and diagnostic innovation in antibiotic stewardship is needed to fight AMR and keep treatments effective. However, the current pipeline of these innovations is not sufficient to meet this urgent need.

To improve this, INCATE (INCubator for Antibacterial Therapies in Europe) is bringing together leading academic institutions, industry partners, experienced entrepreneurs and investors. As a unique, not-for-profit public–private partnership INCATE's mission is to support the development of novel antibacterial therapies and preventative interventions, by supporting early-stage innovators in the field of AMR.
